I have spent over 27 years in practice in various roles, including my first job as what was then termed a 'kennel maid' by Fielding and Cumber when I showed aptitude for dealing with patients. After five years, I made the move to Moorcroft on Dorchester Road where I trained and qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 2005 via the Lynwood School of Veterinary Nursing. I then remained in post for a further 18 years, I felt it was time to move on, and spent a year with Southfield vets in Dorchester before being offered the role of Theatre Manager at Dave Cumber Vets. I manage a busy practice team, co-ordinating the vets, nurses and CCT to keep the day running as smoothly as possible.
My beloved nemesis is my cat Campbell but also, I enjoy spending time with my two ponies which I am fortunate to keep close by to home and the practice.
