Alison Rycroft

Ali began nursing in 1986 (37 years ago), and still loves it to this day. Her first job was at Battersea Dogs' Home where she worked for the first 5 years of her career, and was Deputy Head Nurse there when she left to work for The Blue Cross in London Victoria. She was Head Nurse at two practices in South London before moving back to Dorset when she had her son.

She has a particular interest in nutrition and the important role it plays in our pets' health, and is currently completing an advanced nutrition course. At Battersea she was involved with putting weight on underweight dogs & cats, now she runs our obesity clinics helping owners slim their pets down. She is able to offer help and advice with nutrition for our renal patients, cardiac cases, pancreatitis, food sensitivities, urinary issues and diabetics.
